The search for a good investment

I spoke with Will Rawstron in early fall of 2012 looking for a rental condo for the mountains. I gave him some criteria to go off of…it had to be profitable. A place came up in late fall that sounded like a fit. It was, but I didn't have any way of knowing that then. He ran the numbers, showed me what rental comps looked like and it sounded doable. Just like the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. It immediately turned a profit in 2013 and based of the remaining lease agreements for 2014 will earn almost triple my expenses. I recently took a look at comps, and it has gone up in value more than 40%. On my own I would have never looked at this place, Will saw the potential in it and took the time to show me. I sure hope he finds another place like it for me soon.

Laura was fantastic

My wife and I have always wanted a house in Breckenridge. But we had an almost impossible set of requirements. Instead of throwing up her arms and saying, "good luck" Laura Karden rolled up her sleeves. She spent time going through requirements in detail, driving the city and personally previewing homes and sending video updates to both me and my wife.

Much to our surprise she found the exact right property. During the negotiations, Laura proved to be a steady voice navigating the demands of the seller and the buyer. I believe that all parties feel like a good deal was reached. Also, post sale she continues to be in touch with us and is still working to make sure we are comfortable in our new home.

He was so knowledgeable about the Summit County market, including the rental market, which was a big consideration for us. Townhouse on 10 mile Creek

This is the second property in the past year Mark worked with us on. Even though inventory was thin this year, we found a golden nugget right on 10 mile Creek in Frisco. The whole transaction was quick and easy. He helped us with financing and contractor recommendations to make things go smoothly. Everyone in the agency is quite nice and they seem to work like a team. I would highly recommend them.

We had our best experience with a real estate team in all our transactions of a lifetime. Mark Bauman has a keen sense of knowing what we were looking for. When we initially went ahead and saw something he didn't advise, we realized he really did understand our goals. Mark and Amy cover for each other and are amazing synched. Great communication between them. When problems arose because of a delay in our funding, Amy and Mark sprung into action. They really were amazing. The whole team was very friendly and professional. Really, the best agents!
